The Power Of Thought and How It Affects Us

What is the power of thought? I will try to make it simpler to comprehend and also direct to the point. The power of thought is the ability of the human mind to affect things within our universe. Your thoughts and intentions have the potential to affect any matter in the universe. Believe it or not, human beings, each person with a mind of his or her own (meaning you are in full control of your thoughts, mindsets, emotions, and focus), has this ability. It is only logical to ask questions when things are unclear, it is better to inquire and discover the answers later than to just accept every word at face value.
Many successful and powerful people in the past have already harnessed this power of thought. Masaru Emoto, Oprah Winfrey, Henry Ford, Winston Churchill, Mahatma Gandhi, Bruce Lee, Albert Einstein, just to name a few.
Is the power of thought unbelievable? It depends on your mindset, really.

Is the power of thought magical? It depends on how you define the word magic.
There are various definitions of magic. Most of the definitions have this in common. Magic cannot be explained completely by religion and science. Magic is separate from religion and science. Magic is something that is in the realm of the paranormal or supernatural. This means magic is above normal and beyond natural. Magic is something beyond the normal understanding of science. Science cannot prove and disprove it.
Is the power of thought scientifically proven? Absolutely! Many times in the past, it has been proven. There was one famous experiment in the past conducted by Dr. Emoto Masaru. The study was called the Water Molecule Structure Experiment. It was discovered and proven that the power of thought has a direct influence on water molecular structures. That experiment was also known as “The Hidden Messages in Water.” To make a long story short the experiment proved that positive thoughts created connected and beautiful crystalline structures on frozen water molecules. On the flip side, negative thoughts and malicious messages only made ugly ice formations, broken, chaotic structures.
Water is affected in many ways by our consciousness and intent. If the power of thought, specifically the power of positive thoughts can affect water on a molecular level, how much more can it affect the human body which is at least 65% water? Let that question sink in for a while. Imagine that.

The power of our mind is a component of the creative power within our Universe. It means our thoughts or intentions, and our mind’s ability to destroy (through negativity) and create (through positivity) affects things around us. Our mind combined with our intention (strong desires) can create vibrations and frequencies that can affect other vibrations and frequencies.
When you practice thinking the same thoughts over and again, when your intention is strong enough, one way or another, this mighty power (the power of thought) helps you make your thoughts become real. Being mindful is a powerful practice. Being “mindful” means you are aware of something; you are focused on doing something while observing and having an impartial thought. To be effective at being mindful, we do this by maintaining a moment-by-moment awareness of how we react, what we think, how we feel, and the surrounding environment.
Mindfulness involves no judgment. It means we focus our attention on anything with the attitude of a witness with no prejudgments (you are unbiased). When you are mindful you are observing and analyzing only and you are not taking anything personally. You are carefully trying to understand why.
Be mindful:
Be mindful of your thoughts for they will become words.
Be mindful of your words for they will become actions.
Be mindful of your actions for they will become your habits.
Be mindful of your habits for they will become your character.
You can affect people with your positive thoughts, through your inspiring or hurtful words. You can affect people through your positive or negative actions. The choice is always yours. I am positive you will make the choice that will create ripples of positive change all around. For we are all connected in this world we live in. Let’s make the best while we are still here.

Thank you for your kind words. I usually sit down on my work desk, then I mentally prepare to clear my mind. When there are too many topics or things on my mind, this is what I do to clear my thoughts. I write down important words on a small sheet of paper or “post its.” Once I have them written down, they are somehow cleared from my mind. I keep those pieces of paper to be used later. OK, now is the fun part. When writing something, just write them down. Start right away, write whatever comes into mind. DO NOT worry about anything. Just keep your thought flowing. Do not edit anything at all. Keep on writing. When you are done. You are done with your first draft. 🙂 When you read your draft for the first time, you will notice than new thoughts come into your mind, or you want to remove this or that. Add this or refine that. Add more examples, etc. Usually, I am inspired, when I see a quote that I like. Then something within me clicks or agrees or disagrees, something connects in my mind or something within changes, then I write. Try not to overthink, just relax and let your natural flow come. When you are done your first draft, read it and see how you react to what you wrote, then refine and make the 2nd draft. Do not aim for perfection, rather aim for constant improvement. Have fun and take your time.
It’s ok not to write anything for a few minutes. That is not time wasted. That is time spent well on preparation and improving your flow. Write down the words that come into your mind immediately. Anything is better than nothing. Any word, no matter how small or big it may seem. Just write each one down. Each word you write down is like a piece of a puzzle. Try to connect those puzzle pieces through your writing. Have fun! Be positive! You can do it!
