In Steve Job’s words, “Stay hungry, stay foolish.”
Keep on doing what you love doing. Do not be afraid to be crazy. Be brave! Believe in yourself. Do not allow others to stop you from doing what you love most. Meet any challenges you may face with your head held high, proud and confident. If you know what you are capable of doing, then nothing should stop you from pursuing your passions. Believe in your ability. Do more of your hobbies, because that will keep you happy. Have more time to do the things that you love because that will make you happier.
Know what your passions are. Pursue your passions and aim to do your best. Never be satisfied with being mundane and keep on pushing the envelope, push the limits of what you can normally do. Challenge yourself to do not just good things but also great things. Then you will reach excellence and that would be awesome! Be creative with what you can do and how you do things. Be open to newer possibilities. Create new systems or better ways of how you do things. Then you will be more efficient, then you will improve your skills and you will have a better mindset too.
To Stay Hungry means to stay ambitious and aim for higher learning, better things, and keep on pushing yourself to exceed your limits. Aim for excellence, always learn and always grow. Be a growth hacker whose primary reason is the absolute focus on growth and reaching a particular goal. Nourish your hunger with what you can learn and discover. Be curious, be inquisitive, be ambitious.
To Stay Foolish means to be a regular risk-taker or ready to act on your crazy or not-so-normal ideas to make things happen without fear of failing. Take risks and succeed. If you fail, take that failure as a stepping stone to your ladder to success. Take a leap of faith and act on your “out of the box” ideas. There are no guarantees but it’s better to fail by trying that to fail to try and never succeed. It is also a testament to how Steve Jobs kept on breaking the rules and always doing what he thought was best even when some people would not accept that his crazy ideas would work. He had the firm and unwavering conviction to keep on taking actions that would make his dreams a reality. Remember that your actions and not just thoughts are what makes your dreams come true.
Stay hungry, stay foolish is a call to action that may mean many different things to people based on different translations. But the core concepts included in this Call to Action (CTA) is to pursue your wildest dreams with your greatest enthusiasm and hungry devotion to make things happen according to your own rules and your own time frame.
Challenging the status quo was Steve Job’s main concept. Therefore this CTA is a Rebel’s challenge to pursue any dream at all costs, take extreme risks and believe in yourself. If you will not trust yourself, then who would? Time is too short to wait for things to happen. Trust in yourself and make things happen yourself. Go, go, go!
